Installation
VividAI is a Chrome Extension. Follow these steps to install it:

Visit the Chrome Web Store
Go to the VividAI page on the Chrome Web Store (link coming soon).

Add to Chrome
Click the "Add to Chrome" button and confirm the installation permissions.

Pin the Extension
Click the puzzle piece icon in your browser toolbar and pin VividAI for easy access.
Getting Started
Once installed, you need to configure your AI settings.
1. Open Settings
Click the VividAI icon and select the gear icon to open the Options page.
2. Choose Your AI Model
You can use OpenAI (Cloud) or Ollama (Local) for privacy.
Note: OpenAI provides $120/month in free credits for new users, which covers approximately 300 hours of transcription.
Key Features
Universal Recording
VividAI works on any tab that plays audio. Simply click "Start Recording" to capture system audio from Google Meet, Zoom, Teams, or any other platform.
Real-time Transcription
As the meeting progresses, you'll see a live transcription of the conversation. We support over 50 languages with auto-detection.
Smart Summaries
After the recording stops, click "Summarize" to get:
- Meeting Minutes
- Key Takeaways
- Action Items
Troubleshooting
Common issues and fixes:
- No Audio Recorded: Ensure you selected "Share System Audio" when the browser prompt appeared.
- Transcription Failed: Check your API key in settings and ensure you have sufficient credits.
